Publication Schedule
Intermestic: Journal of International Studies is published twice a year, with regular issues scheduled for May and November.
The publication schedule is intended to provide a predictable framework for manuscript processing, editorial planning, and scholarly dissemination.
Submission and Editorial Processing
Manuscripts may be submitted throughout the year, subject to the journal's current submission announcements and editorial policies. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication in a particular issue.
Each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment, followed, where appropriate, by peer review, revision, and a final editorial decision. The time required for each stage depends on the suitability of the manuscript, reviewer availability, the extent of revisions required, and the authors' response times.
The Editorial Team seeks to complete the editorial process in a timely and transparent manner without compromising the quality or integrity of peer review.
Publication of Accepted Articles
Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication according to editorial readiness, issue planning, and the journal's publication capacity. The journal may adjust its schedule when necessary, and any material changes will be communicated through its official website.
The publication date displayed on each article's webpage represents the official online publication date.
Continuous Submission
The journal accepts submissions throughout the year unless a specific call for papers states otherwise. Special issues or themed collections, when organized, will be announced separately with their own submission deadlines and editorial arrangements.
Authors are encouraged to consult the journal's announcements and submission guidelines for the latest information.
