Electronic Filing

Electronic Submission and Filing

Intermestic: Journal of International Studies manages manuscript submissions and editorial correspondence through its official Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

Electronic Submission

Authors must register on the journal website and submit their manuscripts through the online submission system. Submissions sent by email or other channels will be considered only when expressly authorized by the editorial office.

During submission, authors are required to provide accurate information, including the manuscript title, abstract, keywords, author names, affiliations, corresponding author details, and any declarations requested by the system.

The main manuscript file must comply with the journal's formatting and anonymization requirements. Where double-blind peer review applies, identifying information must be removed from the manuscript file and submitted separately when requested.

Required Documents and Declarations

Depending on the manuscript and the journal's current requirements, authors may be asked to provide:

- A manuscript file prepared according to the Author Guidelines.
- An author contribution statement.
- Funding and conflict-of-interest declarations.
- Research ethics approval or informed consent statements, where applicable.
- Permissions for third-party materials.
- Other supporting documents required for editorial assessment.

Authors must ensure that submitted information and supporting documents are accurate and complete.

Electronic Editorial Records

The journal maintains electronic records of submissions, editorial decisions, reviewer reports, revisions, correspondence, and publication files through its editorial management system, subject to applicable access controls and privacy requirements.

Access to confidential editorial records is restricted to authorized personnel and participants whose roles require access to the relevant information.

Record Retention and Confidentiality

The journal retains editorial records for administrative accountability, publication integrity, and the management of post-publication concerns. Records are handled in accordance with applicable institutional policies and legal requirements.

The journal takes reasonable measures to protect submitted manuscripts and associated information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

Authors are responsible for retaining copies of their submitted files and ensuring that the information provided to the journal remains accurate throughout the editorial process.
